Meets in our office at Weija-Accra at 7:00 am and departure time will be at 8:00am. In our fully air-conditoned, toyota hiace van you will enjoy musics from our local artists such as Sarkodie, Shata Wale, Stone Bwoy etc.
We will start of with a climb to the top of the old lighthouse near James Fort in Jamestown with its breathe taken view of the city and the busy and colourful fishing harbour.
After some few minutes drive we will be at the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and later visit the W.E.B. DuBois Centre and Independence Square respectively. We will stop at the busy Makola Market in central Accra to but some bananas to feed the monkeys.
Finally we will take you to the Art Centre, where you will find a great choice of local handicrafts. Look behind the scenes of the Art Center and enjoy a drumming session with the locals.
Day 2
After about 3 to 4 hours drive we will be at Abuipe a village near Tafi Atome to see kente weaving and buy some bananas in case we couldn't buy from Accra.
We will then head towards the monkey sanctuary at Tafi Atome for fun with habituated Mona monkeys. The group will be escorted by a trained and experienced tour guide throughout the duration of our tour. Don't be left out, come along and lets have fun together.
