The Easter festivities (usually in April) in Ghana can not be classified as fun and joyous without Paragliding, which has become an integral part of the annual Kwahu Easter Festivities. Kwahu Paragliding festival attracts both Ghanaians and foreigners alike for 4 days of spectacular fun, ceremony and music.
Seasoned Pilots from around the world are invited to fly hundreds of people during this event at Kwahu Atibie in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The event has over the years flown thousands of people and given them memorable experiences. Each year's edition promises to be great with tours, hiking and more adventure options. Your safety is always secured since you will not be in the air alone but with a qualified Pilot and also there is always a standby ambulance to take care of emergencies.
Aside the fun and scary moments, this trip can also serve as an educational experience that combines art with natural, historical and social heritage.

Tour Plan
Day 1
Meets in our office at Weija-Accra at 7:00 am and departure time will be at 8:00am. In our fully air-conditoned, toyota hiace van you will enjoy musics from our local artists such as Sarkodie, Shata Wale, Stone Bwoy etc.
We will start of with a climb to the top of the old lighthouse near James Fort in Jamestown with its breathe taken view of the city and the busy and colourful fishing harbour.
After some few minutes drive we will be at the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and later visit the W.E.B. DuBois Centre and Independence Square respectively. We will stop at the busy Makola Market in central Accra to but some bananas to feed the monkeys.
Day 2
We will visit Tweenedurasi Mystical Cave which is located at Tweenedurasi used to be a hide out for warriors which they go in there to prepare concoctions to to invoke them to war especially against Ashantis. It comes with its own history and and adventure type.
From there we shall also go to Kwahu Canopy walkway where travelers will walk on the canopy and have fun with others.
Day 3
We shall also go to AirJays which includes, Zipline, Canopy Walk, and Stairways. These attractions are leisure and adventure sites which officially opened in 1st May 2015. It is located at Obo Kwahu on the Obo Kwahu Scarp serving as observation post for you to have paranemic view of the Obo township and other Kwahu towns amist the hilly forest of Kwahu. It comes with spectacular view.
Day 4
We will be at Kwahu Atibie, a few minutes drive from Obo Kwahu where the paragliding fun is happening. We shall rest at a nearby restaurant to have lunch then continue to the paragliding site. The Odweanoma Mountain, which is located at Atibie has been earmarked as the take-off point is regarded as one of the best places for flight experience.
